Journey On Relaxation Exercise

I have done many different types of meditation throughout my life.  Many of these have been Guided Meditations.  To help everyone better understand where I am coming from and my experience in meditation, I have been helping others learn different meditations and techniques for the past eight years.  I, myself have been practicing meditation for the past twenty.  In this time I had only found one guided meditation that was not favorable at the time.  That one involved a drum being sounded in peoples ears.  It was to loud for me personally but others enjoyed it.  As far as Journey On Relaxation goes: I found it had great description of the relation of breath with good meditation.  It is a bit long for most beginners.  I start most of my beginners with only five minute meditations every day.  Then increase it as they find their breath more easy to continue and their mind to clear.  This usually takes about one to two weeks.  It is at this point I would impalement this kind of guided meditation.  I also found the random flute playing to be a little distracting for someone who is trying to put their mind at peace for the first time.  Again, for someone who has been trying for a couple of weeks it is a good guided meditation.

  1. Thanks for sharing your experience with meditation. I have been meditating for my own personal reasons for about 10 years on and off. I recently started again and can't believe that I stopped. I think that it is great that you teach it to others, what a great gift to share.
